Liminal is an exploration of change, a dissection of its phases. Change is terrifying, but the fear is softened when viewed through a natural lens. A seed can represent the space before change: stillness, stasis and potential. Rain can be seen as the liminal: stillness turns to chaos and destruction, and flow leads to untethering and creation. The exhibition pauses at this uncomfortable threshold, this liminal space and offers faith that whatever occurs after will lead to complexity, richness and growth because that is what we are shown when we look to the natural world.
